a performer rpm intake and 750 holley would be a good start an MSD would work fine, or just a petronix ignition form jc whitnet for about 79.99 would replace the ponts and get a 40,000 volt coil to go along with it would work to thats about 29.99, a good set of headers would improve the 360 a bunch, good luck
I've gone thru this with my 70 f-250 don't use the 750 its way too much for a stock motor gas what it is you don't need to put a garden hose in there which is what mine came with -750,not the hose - I've put a Motocraft 600 on an Edelbrock aluminum Performer manifold with an MSD billet distributor & 6A ignition box its also got an old set of stainless headers that were on it as well - i'm still in the process of ironing it out but the plugs look right-on as far as fuel oh yeah and a Pertronix Ignitor coil -
