If you live at that altitude, then you may just want to stick with the 750. But change the sec spring to the lightest one Holley offers.

baddad, I don't have a 750. I have a 600. I think you mighta read my question/comment wrong.

I've gone thru this with my 70 f-250 don't use the 750 its way too much for a stock motor gas what it is you don't need to put a garden hose in there which is what mine came with -750,not the hose - I've put a Motocraft 600 on an Edelbrock aluminum Performer manifold with an MSD billet distributor & 6A ignition box its also got an old set of stainless headers that were on it as well - i'm still in the process of ironing it out but the plugs look right-on as far as fuel oh yeah and a Pertronix Ignitor coil -
