Link to specs for '04 F150
Since this link hasn't been posted in quite a while, I figured I'd post it in case anyone wants more detailed specs on the '04 F150 (or any of Ford's trucks).

If you click on the truck line you want info on, it pulls up a PDF file which has fairly detailed info on the trucks, particularly on the drivetrain, frame, and load ratings.
One interesting thing I found is that the frame is thicker on the 8,200 gvw trucks than on the others - just like the frame was thicker on the older 7,700 gvw trucks. But, unlike the older 7700 trucks the 8200 trucks use the same tranny as the 'normal' F150s - the 4R75E.

you can also find specs for Ford trucks back to the 2000 model year, and for some years you can also find specs for the SUVs.
