1994 F-150 good buy??

Hey all,

I was wondering what most people's oponion was on buying a 1994 F-150 short box, regular cab, 5sp, straight 6. comes with liner as well. The guy has recipts for lots of recent brake work and generally shows that it has been taken care of. It has 121,000 miles (212,000km) and the body is in good condition, no rust and a few minor dings. I can get this truck for 3800us, (5000can)

is this a good deal?

Ive heard good things about the straight six, would it still have a lot of miles left under its belt in this case?

thanks for your time and input

cheers

94 in line 6

sounds about right to me. so long as clutch is good and it's a no- smoker.
i paid $8000 for my 94 f-150 supercab 4/4 w/351 165000 miles.
i gave $700 for my 88 reg cab/ longbed 302 4/ speed but i'll have $1400 when i'm done.
always try to talk down, cash in hand is my motto!

looks like good deal. I recently posted thread 1994 F150 Good Buy? and got a lot of good feed back. It had 60,000 miles and was a automatic. It needed two tires, oil pan gasket, possible catalytic converter, possible oil pan, radio, small crack in dash, and some minor rust around the rear wheel wells.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...hreadid=159250

I decided not to purchase that truck, but may just regret it a little. $7,000. I did a 3 year comparison on trucks in my area PGH, PA. and this price was average. Having seen some of those posts on this thread for what people paid for their purchases, I would have bought the truck I looked at.

Good luck.
