battery cables

The dealer wants $85 for new batery cables for my 1993 F150 5.0. does anyone have other suggestions for replacement cables?

I don't know if you have some kind of funkydoo battery cables, but I have never spent more than $25 for the pair.

battery cables

The battery cables are stock on a 1993 F150 XLT Extended cab, 5.0 litre w/auto trans. The cables look "normal" to me other than the additional one or two 12 or 14 gauge leades attached.

battery cables

When I had to replace the cable on my wife's Cheby, I had a local Auto Electric shop make the cable. I took the old one in to them, in about an hour, I had a new cable. Cost less then $20 if I remember right.

go to napa or pep boys. should be less than $30.

I agree with going to a parts house like NAPA or Pep Boys. I would also suggest going with a heavier guage cable. It is worth it. Good luck. Jake.

I don't know if they all can do it, or not, but I had the local NAPA to make up a custom set of 0 guage using my originals as a guide, and they were very reasonable.
