Clutter Free Engine bay

I'm working on smoothing my Firewall now and looking at options for re-running all wires in the wheel wells for the lights and horn. But I'm wondering how some of you guys may have run wires for the engine? My initial though is to have the wires come out of the firewall right behind the engine as to not easily seen.

But I'm also wondering what are some ideas for hiding the heater hoses? I've heard of some people running these through the wheel wells as well. Just curious what others have done. As well as what I should be worried about.

My engine is a Small Block Ford so I have to deal with the distributor up Front. So I'm looking for options on having the spark wires go under the headers. Just not positive that is an option the SBF.

I'm loving the way they did this bay as a reference.

I've seen polished and formed stainless tubing with short hose jumpers for the heater lines. Looks great.

Nobody else has any suggestion or things they have done?

Has anyone else replaced the stock heater core with one that fits under the dash? I found this on on Summit racing and will be testing it tonight to see if I can get it to fit. Hoping to be able to close up the opening on the firewall and all the other small holes.

I'll also be looking to see if I can route the hoses through in the Wheel Well and have them come into the cab through the side.

I ran heater and AC hoses under the passenger side fender and penetrated the toeboard in the driver side dropping the wiring harness behind the cab mount. I boxed the frame rails just by the cab mounts heading forward which function as conduits for electrical, transmission cooling, brake lines etc.
