Hey guys, so this morning my wipers decided to stop functioning. I have read a few methods to test and so forth. looking to take the switch apart and clean the contacts. I hope its not the motor, i hear this isnt fun to replace.

any other thoughts?

 

If you can get the wipers to work by wiggling the delay **** it's definitely dirty or worn contacts. Many of my Fords from this era had this problem. Cleaning the contacts usually worked like a charm.

 

so i messed with the end a little and also wiggled wires on the motor and gave motor a few taps with my knuckle and they work again.

 

My money is on the wiper/delay switch contacts.
