Toy Hauler and campgrounds., Question.
I am looking into a Toy Hauler. 5th wheel, 36 foot. Montana 347THT.
my question... campgrounds...
how often do you find it Hard to get a Site where you can use your Garage .. as a garage... like a site with 60 plus feet long.
this winter has been real hard on my motorcycle..even covered...
polished aluminum does not like damp salty air/water/fog.
One I am at in South Texas.. has 10 sites with open in the rear (mowed grass and dog walk) .. but Manager is very reluctant to allow rear jacks or rear door on area near water and sewer lines under ground. even when there is an UP Charge for these sites.

I also live in So. Texas. Quite a few parks don't have room to drop the tail ramp. I have pulled up to a site dropped the ramp and pulled out the bike and then backed in. I don't find it a big problem. I pick a campground that gives me trees which really limits the length of the spot. I would rather be inconvenienced in the loading and unloading than give up a picturesque "camping" spot.

Thank you for the responses.
I guess I have an issue that most have no answers...
my motorcycle is 12 years old.. bought new.. and it looked new till this winter.. 72,000 miles
sitting under a pricey bike cover. next to the trailer..
I clean and polish it once a month... every month.
its is pitting and rusting. from the moisture, salty fog, Rain...
and both new bicycles are rusting... even covered..
first year/winter down south...
if at home.. they are in dry storage all winter...
riding motorcycles since 1969.. no gaps.. and bicycles since 1956... no gaps as well.
How do you keep your stuff look good in this weather???? being kept outdoors .

So. Texas can be humid and if you are onthe coast it's worse. I am lucky enough to have a garage to keep dry. Still gear a lot of condensation. I use a golden rod in my gun safes to keep the rust away. Marine applications are available for boats. If you can afford it, you could store them in a rented storage place. Not as convenient as having them at home, but might pay off in the long run
