Cool Weekend warrior owners question

Hello, we have a 2002 FS3000 Weekend Warrior. Our floor in front of our man door and a few other spots in the kitchen have become soft, it looks to be rotted out. We were wondering if any other owners of the FS series have had the same problem. We have had the trailer for three years and to out knowledge there has been no water leaks. Any thoughts or opions. Thanks

Hey jake00, we drive in some, I would say very little, we live in norther california. I crawled under the trailer and it seems that weekend warrior ties the bottom with a tyvek type of material, I did not see any signs of water stains.

Yeah,... Let me tell you a little sometin sometin!!
I have an 04 fleetwood and you can sak Lostmybeer what I just did to it this spring. I too had a soft floor and the company could not determine the water intrusion point but they knew they were not going to cover it. It was going to be 2500.00 to have the rv shop fix it. I did it for 109.00 in materials and 16 hrs labor total. The tyvec material is a vapor barrier, the problem with it is that it does not breathe and holds any water that gets in forever until it is soaked into your wood. The mold and mildew in my trailer belly was sickening. I replaced the wood and the insulation. Where I tore up the floor I replaced it with carpet runner off the roll from Lowes. I would suggest pulling apart the bottom and not cutting the linoleum if possable.

Yes Marty, very special. Now where is the rest of my BBQ?

DairyF350crew, Marty went to hell and back with his trailer a few times. My suggestion is to start ripping out. It is true, my and their trailer have not had any problems as far as water leaks and soft floors. Generator and electrical issues is another storey. Those were all minor from an electrician.
