New To Me 92 F150 - Freeze Plug?

Longtime admirer of these older trucks. Found an old beater for sale for $500 I decided to purchase it to have something to tinker on since I sold my old Toyota Hilux. It's an extended cab 2wd lariat with the 5.0L. Owner said it was leaking coolant from the rear of the block and would need a freeze plug. That being said I tried googling freeze plug locations for the 5.0L and didn't see anything helpful. I'm figuring pulling the motor to them all at once. Anyone have experience with the rear freeze plug? Or photos? Bought a Chilton manual but didn't see anything about freeze plugs.

my ford (and haynes) manual refers to them as "core plugs"; they are perhaps more commonly called "frost plugs" ... those terms may, or may not, help with your search. i couldn't find a line drawing in my ford shop manual show the locations though. at any rate, i can't imagine a rear plug being accessible without pulling the engine.

I will see about pulling the engine then. I will do all freeze plugs, spark plugs, and oil pan gasket. Anything else I should be concerned with?

I dont think you have to pull the motor. you can access them from underneath there should be 4 along each side of the block.

So there ain't any freeze plugs on the back of the block?

Also have abother problem now. I put a new ignition switch in and also removed a Viper security system I found under the dash. Now the truck won't run, it try to turn over but never fires up. Not sure what wrong now.
