Well this wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be. I first tried to install the Aerowrap version. It seemed just a tiny bit too small. I really had to stretch the ends to get the outer screws in, and when I went to close the hood (carefully) I noticed the lip of the guard was going to get caught behind the front grille on the passenger side. It just didn't seem right. Not sure if didn't mold right or had some memory effect. Then I noticed a small crack on the outter edge. Something wasn't right so I took it off.

I then put on the SuperGuard version. Much smoother! The outer screws lined up perfectly and there was more room at the grille area and it came down and overlapped the grille, not going behind it. It does rest right on the grill though at the corners of the grille. Is it the same for others? It touches the grill at the corners of it near the headlight/grille joint. seems ok but I'm sure it will cause some chafing on the grille but as long as a guard is there I don't think you'd see it.

I like the look. It is a tall guard and adds to the hood height. It is clearly visible from the cab but the smoke version lets some light through for a cool look and helps keep visibility a bit.

Just curious on it touching the grille. Nothing in the instructions talked about adjustments of the hood or grille so I assume that overlap/touching is by design.

Mine is touching the grill on the drivers side but not on the passenger side. Adjusted the guard the best I could and it's still slightly touching. I haven't looked close enough to see if the guard is the cause or the grill is out of alignment.

Thanks for the comparison info. At least it's not just me. Mines at least even so I'll leave it alone. Looks sick on there though. Nice addition.

Well I got my aerowrap today. 20 mins to install. I like it. Was easy to install. Sorry for short sentences. Tired, going to bed.

Has anyone seen a white hood shield? Back in 2003 I was able to get one for my white 2500HD from the GMC parts department. My new to me 2016 F350 is white and I'd like to do the same thing if possible. I'd rather not go to the expense of having one painted.
