The ford website has me confused. Wondering which trim levels or equipment groups give you power folding towing mirrors on the 2017 F150.

Power folding would be Lariat 501a or higher trim. You'll still need to spec the tow mirrors separately.

Or buy the add-on mirrors. Mine work great and I don't have to have the antlers all the time.

Antlers...great description. Just getting the add-on mirrors is a great idea for those that would prefer the smaller mirrors during "daily" driving. I happen to love my antlers (even the look). They're very functional even for driving around town. I've got the large fish-eyes set up so I can use them for both changing lanes as well as backing up. Tilted down at just the right angle, I can see both rear wheels to avoid curbs without having to move my body in the seat.

I think they're a must have option, but nearly impossible to find on a dealer lot.

I totally agree with you. Although mine are with the '12 Superduty, but one of my favorite features of the truck. These mirrors are the best in the industry...IMHO. Will be an add-on to my 2017 f150 when ordered.

I much prefer the factory tow mirrors to the add-on kind. I find they help me parallel park, which I seem to do pretty often. I can get by with the slip-on style, but that's not my preference.

Not sure why I couldn't figure that out, thanks for the help guys

Antlers? Maybe more like elephant ears? Too bad there isn't a "shrink" setting...
