The trany is less than a year old rebuilt by a local shop.

Starting two days ago when i put the shifer in anything but reverse and 2nd it acts like it is in nurtral. 2nd and reverse are strong and do not slip. do you think its in the linkage? Or is my tranny dead?

My swag is that shift solenoid B is not energizing.

See if any tranny DTCs have set.

 

Take it back to the shop that did the work.
There must be some warranty left inside of a year's time.
I'm sure they would want to know how their work held up.
Why come here for what amounts to guessing on the on problem.
