2000 Ford F250 V10 won't start in cold weather
Ok I've seen some related topics on this problem but figured I try with my scenario. This happened once last winter and seems to be happening again.
Truck starts right up and runs great when outside temps are warm. Temps are now in the 20 deg F. to 30s and went out to start this morning to plow. Engine cranks no problem almost like it cranks too easily. Then finally after several tries she fired over and ran great while plowing, not one hick up. I shut her down and figured I'll try starting again just to see. Same thing, just cranked, after couple tries sputtered and died...Tried again and then started up and ran great. After this happened last winter it ran great all summer. No codes are thrown either. Ok I just went out again and same thing, no start. I kept trying and it attempted to run but if I gave it some throttle it wanted to die.I let it run a few seconds without touching it and then ran fine. Never an engine light on. Any ideas would be appreciated..
Thanks
Mark
