I have a 2016 F-250 SRW 4x4 Crew Cab Lariat 156" WB Styleside 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Diesel 6-Speed Auto Trans. It has Powerscope TT Power-Fold Mirrors, Power/Heated Glass and Signals, My dumb ? for the day is how do I turn on the "heated" part for the outside mirrors? I don't see anything on the drivers door or instrument panel to turn them on to help clear the frost off them? Thanks in advance...........Gary

 

Should come on when you turn your *edit* (rear) defrost on.

 

On mine there is a button on the dash to the right of the button the controls which vents the air comes out of (floor/dash) looks like a defrost logo.

I am told if i had the rear window defrost it would also turn that on too-

In the fourth reply of this link, there is a picture of the dash. If you zoom in, to the left of the picture of the sitting man in the hvac buttons are two defrost buttons. The bottom one is for the mirrors. I think though they come on automatically when the main defrost is on; can't remember though.

So the one with the (R) turns on both the rear defrost and side mirrors?

 

That's different than the picture that was in the thread. I think though that the mirror defroster comes on with the front defroster, not the rear.

edit: just looked at the manual online - it does come on with the rear defrost

 

Yea I know it different then the one you linked to. This one is my dash!!LOL Thanks Seville. So when I push the defrost for the windshield the mirrors also come on? Seams odd Ford didn't put a separate switch just for the side mirrors............

I'll have to check mine - a 2011 - the next time it's icey out. I could swear they came on either with the front defrost or their own button (I have a separate rear defrost button)

 

Ok - was just driving mine - 2011 F350 Lariat -I have a separate button for my side mirror defrost. Instead of an "R", it has a little tail at the bottom of the squiggly lines to mske it look like a side view mirror
