Clutch fork Slop at Bell Housing
Hi,
I have a 1978 F100 V8 Cleveland 351 4x4,
Does any one have a photo of the assembly of the clutch fork.
I think my F100 is missing a spring or something as the fork can slop from side to side.?
To me it means the shaft between the fork and slave cylinder could drop out.
From that point the pistom in the slave cylinder could also come out.
As their is nothing to reatin it.
The clutch does not react until the pedal is half way down.
I dont like the feel of it and have some doubt.
Need the truck to get to work.
Please help if you can.
Thanks,

Since "down under" trucks use a different parts catalog, VIN & Warranty Plate codes, and US/Canadian trucks did not come with hydraulic clutches, there's no parts catalog pic that I can post.
