Camber Issue 93 F-150

I have a 93 F-150 with six inch lift and 35x12.5 tires on stock rims. I had to install 2 inch wheel spacers on front and back. Front tires would rub very bad on radius arms when turning. My camber looks like complete ****. Any ideas of what to do?

Personally, I would ditch the spacers and live with the radius arm rubbing. That has never really caused a problem on any of these trucks that I've seen. The spacers cause excessive wear on wheel bearings and ball joints. Was there a camber problem before installing the spacers? If the camber was slightly off before, it could be more exaggerated with the spacers. They're also a safety hazard.

The rubbing is absolutely terrible. Like I can hardly make a right hand turn. At slow speeds trying to make a sharp turn they rub so bad it almost stalls the motor.

Ditch the spacers and find rims with proper backspacing to give better clearance with those tires. Once you do that, check the camber bushings, and the rest of the front suspension...ball joints, etc.

So you think that some offset rims will do better?

No, but it's magnifying the problem...which is that your front end likely needs rebuilt with new ball joints, and quite possibly tie rod ends. While at it, replace the camber bushings and axle u-joints. Rims with a different offset allow you to ditch the spacers, which are a known weak point.

I rebuilt my front end over a period of 4 days in 2009, working each evening after work. If you can follow a Haynes manual, you can replace the parts on your own rather inexpensively. Brute strength and determination are key when tackling this job...so is having the right tools, which can be rented at any of the box auto parts stores.

The condition in the picture usually means lower ball joints are bad. And the uppers are not far behind. You will also need the adustable camber bolts for the upper a arms. Ford built these with fix camber plates.

I can do ball joints but don't have much experience with camber bushings and such. How difficult do you think they would be?
