Hello , I am changing the ring and pinion in my 1970 f250 camper special. The rear end is a 16 spline Dana 60 . My question is where to find a pinion crush sleeve and what your guys opinion on crush sleeves in Dana 60s or is there a better way to preload the bearings

I found all the bearing & crush sleeve online, I guess you have not tried searching for these items.
I had a HD44 front axel that, I had the out ring and pinon switched out the easy way, had a shop R&R the bearing carrier bearing so had the setup R & P and done with it.
I'm to old too keep messing with stuff like that any more.

Does that mean I'll just have to fork the pinion down to spec and call it good or is there a spacer that takes place of the crush to abtain bearing preload?

There is no spacer or crush sleeve used with any Dana axle.
Look at the parts catalog pic of the Dana rear axle in post #5. There is no spacer or crush sleeve between the pinion gear and the companion flange.

In Bill's pic the 4109 is listed as a rear pinion bearing shim. The 4672 is listed as a front pinion bearing shim. (parts list #93)
The pinion bearings are shimmed to set the preload, but if you have lost preload then the gear pattern will be lost and the rear end will fail pretty quick. Ideally you need to rebuild the rear end.
