Yeh, reverse is not as deep a throw as the forward gears, so far no popping out of reverse,
But maybe I am super sensitive in the listening of it, but is there a "fluid modifier" to make it a little more silent?

Mine popped out of reverse, but the reverse gear was broken in half.

As for fluid, what are you running?

 

Standard Ford ATF

 

The old original spec for the fluid was dexron auto tranny fluid. The new spec that zf says is a upgrade for all their old fluid specs is the dexron VI, which is a full synthetic auto fluid. The cheapest place to get the dexron VI used to be Walmart.

 

That's why I asked. Try the synthetic to see if it quietens the tranny.
