Hi there! I just drove home a 2011 F250 6.2 XLT. Lovely truck

I'm Bringing the truck in to have the remote starter with new keys programmed and the transmission updated. Is there any dealer updates or settings I should have done while they have the computer hooked up?

Lower the tire pressure settings so that you can run lower psi without the light going off. Change the tire size to match what is on the truck if they are bigger than what came new. You can also turn off the fast blinking turn signals to give you the option to run LED lights and still have them blink normally.

 

Great ideas. I'm not sure if my tires are stock or not, I'll have to look into it. They look pretty close.

You could also have them program the headlights to work as daytime running lights. A few auto insurance companies give a small break on your rates if you have them
