I just thinking (trouble there) does the computer adjust for larger or for that matter smaller tires. I know the dealer could reprogram (so could I with the Smarty) my old Dodge for the larger tire size. Does Ford's computer do it on it's own or does it work on a range. Does it have to go to dealer or is there a way for the owner to do it on his/her own? So far the dash milage and my hand cal are very close plus I only went up to 32.5". Any thoughts? Chris
I know I have read that the Edge will adjust for tire size. I am sure the dealer has that ability as well. What they would charge I have no clue. I wouldn't be to surprised if some of the larger tire shops don't have the ability as well.
