Odd electrical problem

Hello, our 2008 mountaineer started to randomly display a tire pressure sensor fault. It does this totally randomly and when it does the dome lights come on and fade off. Bad ground somewhere? Thoughts? Suggestions? Thank you

How old is the battery under the hood? With modern vehicles anymore, batteries seem to be one of the first suspects for strange electrical issues. Anymore the typical battery life seems to be around 3 years, so you could be close to due for your 3rd battery.

If the battery was very recently replaced, then I'd suggest you first confirm the battery cables are clean and tight.
