Electrical Connection and Batt #'s
I have two real quick questions....I took some flourescent lights out of an old ambulance and am going to mount them in my topper....should I connect the power wires to battery 1 or battery 2?
Question#2) How do you know which is battery 1 and battery 2?

Inverter, now you're talking. Run it off aux batteries though.

As for #1 or #2 it shouldn't matter. Me thinking the starter wire comes off the driver side so I think that would be #1.

Both of the main batteries are wired in parellel with no isolator, so it won't matter what side of the truck you draw power from. It will drain both batteries. If that concernes you I recommend a third battery with an isolator.
