Have not done brakes on my 2015 yet. But when I replaced on my 2004 F250, I first used premium pads from Raybestos and was not happy with how they felt. Took them off and bought pads from Ford and felt like new again. I don'the know who makes them for Ford. If your looking for more stopping power, a friend changed all his over to EBC brakes, but you have to use their rotors, very expensive.
I used premium pads on my 2012 from advanced auto parts. Sign up for speed perks log in get your parts. Parts total over 50 use code trt30 to save 30% or if you spend a 100 use code trt41 for 40 dollars off. They also give lifetime warranty on their pads.

I just installed a set of these I was very impressed by the quality. And cheap enough too...
The factory pads are made by Federal-Mogul and the formula is contract restricted to the OE, blue box assembly line parts. You have to go out of your way to get the Counterman to sell these.
The Motorcraft Red Box parts are also made by Federal-Mogul, but are a different formula, backing plate and noise insulator and are carried as the "aftermarket" replacement line at a lower price point.
changed MY 2003 S.D. brake pads "just because" at 100K,now on those replacements at 160K...Ford superduty pads have proven themselves to Me. good luck...David
