Y Block valve retainers

What are you using for valve retainers? I got some bare heads and can buy everything except valve retainers
Will a Small Block Fords work?

The place where you can get the valves do not have them?

Mummert might have some, FORD Y. He does have spring, retainer and keeper kits.

No Charlie,
I got the valves, springs, keepers and push rods from Elgin Industries. Went on Perfect Circles website and they have everything but the retainers too.
I guess everyone went to the one piece retainers but no one has a note in their parts books about what to use.

Damn!! This always happens, I cleaned out two truck loads of crap last year and the dog biscuit box was full of springs, retainers, keepers and push rods. I'm using the one piece retainers on my current heads that I got on Ebay years ago.

I'm good with the one piece, I just can't find a part number. Pretty sure 6 cylinder uses the same as a Y Block.

Now I remember I bought the retainers and springs NOS and they were for an F code engine. I have never seen any for sale since. I would ask on the Y-Blocksforever Forums forum, I'm sure someone would have some even if they are the stock two piece..
