I found a used Truck Tool Box from a F100-70. Can you help me out here and answer
if it's going to fit the bed on my F150-77? (Styleside) Is the -77 bed some wider?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Can you find out the -77dimensions as well? I am far away from my Truck at
the time.
Sure, the '77 dimensions are pretty much the same. The body builder's manual (I'm actually using a '76) says inside to inside is 65" and on the outside dimension, it doesn't measure at the outside edge of the bed rail. it gives the measurement at the widest point of the body which is 79.06". But, for you, I think the inside is the important dimension.
Basically every full size ford truck has the same 65" inner bed width. My 71, 77, and 99 super duty are all the same. I know even the newer super Dutys are that way. Not sure about new F150.
Perfect! Thanks a lot mikeo0o0o0 and 351Cleveland C4
I like the look of the old Truck Tool Box (steel not alu) I found but wasn't sure if it would fit my Truck.
