FUEL PSI

Just curious as to what others see, prior to startup. Mine sits around mid 40's, then once running, stables around 55-62#.
. I do have a high/low soft code for fuel pump. Thinking because, it's on a switch when I used to run wvo.
Going to put wire orientation back to stock to see if that clears up, and fuel psi recoops itself.
. I think I have the spring as well clipped a few coils...

Mine sits at about 55-58 PSI KOEO, with a "stock-ish" spring in my FRx, then climbs just a couple of PSI with the engine idling (more voltage). My batteries are new-ish.

Ok, cool..i do have the frx installed, but only using its housing. Gutted the lines from it. I also have a spare stock spring.
I've watched the psi at wot runs, but it may dip 2-4#, at most...

I think I'm using the FRx black spring, not the actual stock spring. The black spring (if my color memory is engaged) is supposed to deliver stock pressure with the FRx.

I see about 60psi with KOEO, and about 62psi running at idle. I use the FRx as well, and use the middle spring (gold).

Fuel pressure is too low. Need to be higher. Can put a bb in with spring to see if pressure increases. If it don't then maybe the pump is failing.

The pressure on these rigs should be no more than 70 psig at idle and no less than 45 psig under full load. More fuel pressure does not equate to more power on a stock rig. Only so much space in the injector pump chamber to fill regardless.

Factory pressure is 46 to 54.
Adding mods changes the engines requirements.

Tim, you have the stock pump or one of the after market ones that was going off ebay? I thought I remember the ebay one was what you use because of WVO you had.

Appreciate the responses, peeps. Unfortunately, work the last few days have delayed the "attention", and beer has the priorities when I get home.
. OEM unit from day one, from what I can tell. I do have a.m. In box, just in case. Shooting for Friday afternoon to give this attention and post up results. First, I'll wire pump back to stock(hoping it eliminates soft code). If psi remains same, I'll try the uncut spring then.
. I am hovering around 60# when running but noticed a few 50#. Not sure if motor being warmed up or outside temp plays a part....
