2001 f350 front bumper conversion.

i have a 2001 f350 dually reg cab. i have converted the grill to a 2007 and put a 2015 box and rear bumper on. i would like to put on a newer style front bumper. has anyone done this? are any of the newer years a direct bolt on?

The bumper is too short to match up to your fenders and you will have large gaps around your grille if you use the factory holes, but you can modify the gaps it to your liking.

I just put the '05 lights in mine and am going to get an '01 Platinum bumper and a chrome grill.

If you already trimmed the grill to fit the '01 bumper it might not fit with the newer bumper. Something to think about.

the lights look great. were they a direct bolt on or did you have to do some cutting in behind?

Some cutting. I stared at it and drank beer for an hour wondering if I really wanted to hack up my new truck but I think it was well worth it. The first one took a long time, only because I was measuring and fitting, measuring and fitting....the second was done in about 30 minutes.

are you wanting the 2011+ front bumper? if so, yes itll fit. a year ago there weren't many, but there's quite a few now that have done it.

i made a thread on it a while back
