Late model SuperDuty wheels... 18 vs 20 inch wheels

You can generally say that for a given tire diameter the larger rim reduces the amount of sidewall.
The result is the tire will absorb less of the road irregularity ( there is your "harsher" ride ) but the reduced sidewall flex will give crisper steering feel. Off road in sand, snow, mud ect the reduced sidewall flex hinders the tires ability to "float" on the surface and is generally a undeseriable trait.
For load bearing the reduced air volume means that they have a slightly lower load index but in this case the 121 is well above your GVWR so you are clear there.
What shock are your going to run with this tire ? Just me but a soft or OE type shock kills the added handeling feel of the tire, I'd go with a firmer shock to accentuate the sporty feel of the tire.

As far as suspension, I have a track car (Mazda RX-7) with modded suspension and I have a motorcycle (Suzuki DL650 "Vstrom") I don't care for cushy rides.
Currently the Ex has KYB Monomax shocks on it and they're in good shape. I'll upgrade later when I need to replace them. I wish Rancho made the adjustable "My Ride" system so that I can change the characteristics based on load. With the quality I've heard of the adjusters on the 9000s, I might just go with Bilsteins all around and a set of air bags in the rear to adjust based on load.
The rear is slated to get a spring upgrade.

I always use CL and expand my search area by adding "nearby areas" and use "F250", "F350", "superduty", "super duty" and "Harley" as my key words and I look at both "all wheels and tires" as well as "all general auto parts" in the "auto parts" section.
Good luck!
