about all mine runs on. All the same ULSD anymore anyway. Unless like us, you have a 22,000 gallon bulk tank that was filled in 96 and not used much since.

 

Yeah, it's the same stuff as what's at the pump. Just has red dye added to it to identify that no road tax has been paid on it.

Last I heard getting caught on the road with it meant a $10,000 fine and possible jail time for tax evasion if they really wanted to throw the book at you. That was many moons ago so it's probably worse now.

 

In idaho, first fine is like 1500, 2nd is 1500 and 100 per gallon, third they impound your vehicle. If youre coy, you can run clear diesel and still not pay the road tax
