My first dually, 6.0

I wasn't looking specifically for a DRW, but it's what I got and I think it's awesome. 2005 with 158k King Ranch, cleaner inside then anything else around....promise that. But I have a few questions. As soon as it starts, it comes up with TBC fault. The factory TBC is broke and doesn't light up. Those seem to be expensive as heck on line. Know of a good place to get a replacement?

It also pops up Water In Fuel, I think it's probably a sensor?? But it only does it at random times. Ran 2 tanks of fuel through it on the way home, so I know it's cleaned out.

It has a '11+ bed on it, but the '05 flares, looks like there may be a slight curvature change in the years, anything I can do to close up this gap?

I drove it 1053 miles home from Dallas and she got 14.2 MPG. For being stock and having 4.10 gears, I'm very pleased with that. Had the cruise set at 74, ran about 2400RPM.

You can try to get the board in it fixed:

You can try cleaning the sensor with a spray can:

There's an engine specific forum for the 6.0L, you should come down:

Just a heads up, only use Motorcraft or Racor fuel and oil filters, and you need to make sure you have the correct oil filter cap. Incorrectly sized oil filters come with taller caps and/or adapters that try to fix the fact they just plain don't fit correctly. Other fuel filter brands can lack an important water membrane on the primary (lower) filter. Don't use the 1/2" square hole in the secondary fuel filter cap, because you'll most likely crack the cap if the last person under the hood was a gorilla.

Another oddity is the air filter needs BLUE media in it, but they last 60-100k miles for normal drivers.

Good filter source:

24 and 35/36MM sockets for secondary fuel and oil/primary fuel filter caps:
