I know someone here will have this answer. While changing the power steering pump and hoses on my 1993 non turbo 7.3 4x4 5 speed, I ran across a 5/16"-ish vacuum line running from the vacuum manifold (on the left inner fender) toward the front of the pickup along side the power steering pump to a small tuna can shaped (smaller than a tuna can though) thing that has a pigtail of wires plugged into it. The hose was all wiped out due to the power steering leak. Any idea what this thing is? This thing seems somewhat technical being vacuum/electric for this old ride.

Has four screws holding the top on?

Low vacuum warning switch ...
It should be on the left inner fender.
