A/C Not Re-engaging
Whenever I slow down for a car to turn or accelerate after a stop sign the ice cold air goes away and is replaced by warmer air but then it never turns back cold. Only when I kill the engine and start back up does it return. I just had the Freon refilled and there are no leaks. Any ideas?

Check out this video, doing this fix repaired my intermittent A/C compressor. Mine would work great until it warmed up under the hood and then it might work again, or it might not. After this, its worked perfectly since. Its a temporary fix until it wears more and you need a clutch swap out, which is a fairly project compared to a true pressed on GM clutch.

Welcome to FTE.
Did this problem come about After the system was recharged?
If there beforehand, did it come about slowly over time, or suddenly after some event? You may have a body code set, so use your ELM scan tool running FORScan or the like soft ware on the viewing device of your choice, to look for trouble code clues & post up All code Numbers as thet can help focus your trouble shoot.
With it happening when the engine rpm drops, maybe a vacuum leak in the dash A/C temp control circuit, causing the blend door to operate & go to the default Defrost position, thus you'd still have cooling but it would all be coming out the windshield ducts. So next time it does this, check to see if this is happening.
If so pull the under hood vacuum line feeding the in cabin dash temp controls & blow some cigar smoke in & have a helper watch under dash for smoke leaks at the trouble spot.
If no joy there, monitor battery/alternator output voltage to make sure it isn't dropping so low that the A/C clutch, or power relays are opening.
More thoughts for consideration, let us know what you find.
