i didn't get the Max tow, but the difference was only like 800 lbs. The printout said this configuration, with the 3.55 can tow 10,700lbs. U.S.

Congrats! In short time you won't be missing any V8 rumble. However, you do get the "enhanced" engine sound through your stereo with that model. Very nice truck.

Keep the running boards, or swap em for the Retractable Ones...?

Something about white and chrome that just seem to work well together. As for the running boards I would use what is on it for now until they get scratched up or damaged and then look at changing them. Enjoy your new ride.

I find the running boards are almost a necessity; especially if you have friends/family that are "height challenged". That first step up is quite a reach for them. Also relevant if you have elderly friends/family. Anyway. Nice looking truck. Congratulations!

If it were me, I'd stay with the chrome running boards that are on it. The power retractable's might be more trouble than they're worth as they age, at least in my humble opinion. Beautiful truck, though! The more I see that Platinum White, the more I like it.

I seen the Platinum White at the dealers the other day when I was there. Looks fantastic in the sunlight.
