Putting 2012 Memory Seats into a 2006
I bought some 2014 Lariat power memory seats with heat and a/c to put in my 2006 which had power but no memory or heat or a/c (in the seats). They swap out easy enough, but without power I am stuck way too close to the steering wheel.
Anyone have access to the wiring schematics for the memory seats (2011 and up). I am pretty sure I am going to need to get rid of the memory module and then power the various motors. I was thinking of putting the heat on an upfitter switch.
The main reason I did this was to get a jump seat in the middle so I can seat 6. I also wanted shoulder belts for everyone. Retrofitting the rear middle seat shoulder belt is the next project (after power to the front seats). If anyone has any good ideas on that let me know.

anyone ever get any wiring schematics? i am wanting to do this exact same thing(15 xlt that i put 11 or 12 lariat seats into) the passenger i just supplied power to and it has all power functions but the drivers seat does not have anything that works.
i would really like to get the heat and ac part working even if off manual switch i install. i just need to know what wires to supply 12v too.

I bought a wiring diagram off ebay. It turned out to be for the wrong year. Make sure you buy the exact year and model that your new seats came out of. I got the seats all powered up to move in all directions. Had to take the memory module out. Never got heat or AC working in them though. I had an auto electric specialist work on them to try to figure it all out. It took him 3 hours to get all the motors wired correctly.

Okay try this out if you know what year of Truck, Model and whether it is an XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum etc
go to the website BBB Industries- Premium Alternators, Starters, Power Steering Products You will need to register for a free account, once you get that set up then go to the link technical information, hover over that and you will see the option for TSB's & Wiring Diagrams. click on that and then put in the vehicle information (year , make , model, engine, xl, or xlt, etc etc and then you should be able to go and look up the wiring diagrams and go from there and get what you are looking for
You should be able to look up the wiring diagrams for the year truck the seats came out with and get what you need from there. Hope this helps ya guys, keep us all updated on how this goes, more than a few here would love to have this in their older trucks

the key is to know the truck the seats came out of. I was told 2012 f250. Based on the wiring scheme, the seats were actually from a 2014 f450. The wiring is very similar, but the wire colors are all different. The specialist figured it out. I spent an afternoon looking at the diagram and the wiring thinking WTF.

So do you have these in working and functioning?

Yes I do have the newer seats in and working. I have not tried to get the heat or AC working and it is apparently not very easy to do it. I am still working on the rear middle seat belt option. I have gotten the parts for that - I just need to find a good welder that can weld it in there for me.

Yeah I am doing alright - getting close to the one yr mark since I bought the seats so I am not too proud. I have a 12" subwoofer behind the rear seat, so I need to change that box to accommodate the seat belt attachments. Thinking about doing the sub box this weekend (actually for the last 12 weekends). Heated seats will be the last thing. I will update as I slowly plod my way through....
