Yes, some drilling required. But they are mounted nice and solid. .

Very good, thank you. Again its great to see the pics of the different options. I can see why some like one type vs the other.

I am thinking of making the trek north, and I was reading in many places like Alaska these are a must or you can end up with a ticket. That said, I still like them just for the style it gives to the fenders.

I wanted them to stop the mud from getting on the side steps, then tracked into the cab....

After a slow casual drive down the driveway to our land. Not even in 4x4 or any off roading....

I do not think you would be subject to these laws if your truck is registered out of state and complies with your state's current laws.

But they could... You'd have to fight it, show up in court, they count on out of staters just paying the fine.

I have used the Weather teks on both my 250 and now the Dually. With stock wheels and tires they are fine. I lifted the 13 f250 3.5" and put 35" couriago mud terrains and had to remove front pair for clearance issues. Never tried another front pair to compare after that. I ended up using that front pair on the new Dually and purchased a rear set to match. No lift in future for the Dually so I should be happy with them. I like the way they fit and the protection for fenders and boards.

Neither. I used the weather techs flaps and they did not cover well because they are too short. Front more so then the rear. I mocked up a set of huskies and passed on them, not much difference there. I ah ended up with ah dura flaps and ah it was the best for me. Full coverage front and rear. Oh I ah live on dirt 24/7/365 and my truck stays clean.

I do like the look of the Husky's. I installed a set of WT's on my 02 and the front tires rubbed. I used a grinder and ground off some of the inside so the tires would clear. I run 285/75R-16's, stock height. It looks like the Huskys would not have been an issue since it appears they go back a little. The WT's pretty much go straight down.

I like the look of WT, looks like the might protect a little more. I put some new Michelins tires on mine and they sure do like to hang onto the rocks don't they.

It's really coke vs pepsi. I ordered a set of Husky today, hopefully have them on by this weekend.

I have Huskys and run the same tire size with stock suspension and I had to grind just a little to eliminate tire rub as well. The Huskys work great and easy to install.

Yeah, they're both good products and do a reasonable job. I just liked the lines and flow of the Husky a little better and decided to keep them on.

If you are looking for another option that is out of the ordinary and with some more flash, Gatorback mud flaps might do that for you. https://www.sharptruck.com/truck-har...ford-mud-flaps

BUMP......

Any new suggestions, pics or thoughts on these???

I need to pick up a set and wondering what to go with??

Anyone have anymore pics of the Dura Flaps???? Or any additional feedback?

I am going a little bigger on tires, so I wonder if the WT's might get a little tight??

I don't particularly care for the large about of overlap that ends up rubbing on the fender and it appears the Husky flaps may have more?
