I would say that is going to be the biggest thing to over come.

The rest I think would be just to extend wires & fuel lines and hoses.

Now extending the fuel gauge wire may throw it off because of resistance but may be ok also.

What? You don't feel like cutting a hole in the floor of your bed right above it?

Going off of my local jy trucks, that's a pretty common way to change the fuel sending unit...

Ha! Ha! I will cut a hole in flat minute and most probably will now that you mention it . I hadn't thought along those lines yet , but any excuse to be different than the rest . I'm only considering the option so that my NASCAR inspired exhaust will fit right . It will be lowered with a 3/4 drop , peep mirrors , lighted sun visor , painted center wheels with baby moons and whatever else strikes me at the time . Yeah I will cut holes in a minute . Thanks guys . Tim

I did that to a 91 Ranger I had. Needed to change the sending unit. The truck had a bedliner anyway.....

I read something about extending the tubes on the sending unit and there are videos on You Tube showing it . A Country Boy can survive . I think I was looking for someone to say go for it there is nuthin' to it . Ha! Ha! Thanks Ya'll , Tim
