I just got done with this project on my 56. Tried the 57-60 and would have had to cut and re weld to make it fit. So I chose cpp brake assembly. No clutch so I ordered another brake pedal and bracket for the firewall. They would not just sell the pedal. Speedway sells a universal bracket u might check on. Jonesy

Really from what I have been reading it's almost a direct bolt on. What needed to be cut and welded. Do u have any pictures of your setup. The motor and trans that I am using is out of 63 or 64 f100 292 with 4 speed t98 I belive. So my plan is to add a slave cylinder and clutch master. Any help would be welcome as I'm in the planing stage.

I had the flu and was not able to respond and I was out of town. I have not taken any pics yet but I will. I guess I will elaborate on my set up. The reason I used the Cpp parts is I had to offset the clutch master cylinder. The power brake booster even though it is the smaller one in size, it takes up room and by the time you put the clutch master cylinder on. The original setup 61-66 bracket is narrow and you can fit the master clutch and master brake on side by side. The most important part is make sure you are flat on the firewall and tie into the dash so it is solid. I believe the length of the bracket was a little long. (where the bracket meets the dash) It sounds like you are going with the stock system so it should be ok for you.

Thanks for the reply hope u feel better..just for my understanding there is not enough room on the bracket for a booster and clutch master cylinder and if not I would have to widen it correct?
Reasony I ask is I found the pedal assembly from Florida for 25 bucks..a lot cheaper than the kit

Yes, if you use a brake booster, the spread between the two will be to close. If you go with stock set up it's a bolt in with no mods. Before I left on Sunday I took pictures on my camera to post for you. I went to look for my cord to download on to my computer and the cord was gone. I will not go back home till next Thursday, so if you want I can post it then if you like.

Finally got back home for a few days. Have to leave on Sunday. Here are the pics I promised. Both the master cylinder and master clutch assembly had a threaded rod affixed to each. I made some spacers and threaded each end so I would have adjustment on the pedals for each. Have not got a pic of the masters installed yet. Hope I can find some time to install and will post them. having problems posting pics will try later. pics are in gallery not sure why they are not downloading. Still can not download to this thread. have the completed brake pedal assembly done. Finally got the pics to download, Not a 100% done but close.
