I crunched my full power right tow mirror and ordered a new OEM. Do I need to pull the door panel on my 2015 F250 Fx4 Diesel lariat. It has inner panel speaker and rubber grommets inside door when open. Does anyone have some instruction? Thanks a bunch. These things are cheap

I think so I watched a you tube video yesterday so just look on YouTube for directions

 

I saw a bunch of videos but done for the 2015, they seemed to be older models and the only reason to pull the door panel was to plug the wiring harness. 2 Local collision shops quotes 1/2 hour labor and said that they don't need to pull it but they both wanted $1394 for the mirror. I found one for $900 and shipped it here for $9. I bet if I took it down to the shop, 1/2 an hour would go up. I just wonder if they moved the wire up to where i can plug it in without removing the panel. If anyone knows let me know before i tear into it.

On my 12 you had to remove the door panel. I had mine replaced at a body shop as I had turned it into insurance at the time.

I felt real stupid watching how easy it was. I wish I could give you more info but that's what was done on my 12.
