Tailgate Parts
Hey everyone....
Several years ago when I had my truck cap installed they removed all the tailgate hardware and I asked for it back in case I ever wanted to reinstall the tailgate, so they gave me a bag full of the parts.
I should have checked (lesson learned
)....some of the parts were there, but no bolts and 2 of the bolts had been cut because they couldn't get them out of the backing plate, so they just cut the top of the bolt off.
So basically, I'm looking for the 2 latch bolts that the latching mechanism attaches to when the tailgate is closed, 2 backing plates for the hinges, and the 4 bolts to attach the hinges to the backing plates.
Also, does the tailgate hanger cable attach to the latch bolt, or is there another bolt that I'll need also?
Truck is an '07 F350 DRW
I've been looking online, but am really confused
- not sure exactly what I need or what will fit the truck, and when I find a part that I think might work, either no picture of it, or an image that is really unclear.
