glass pac

Does it matter were within the pipe I place my glass pacs? Building my own was thinking of putting them at the very end then with a tip to follow out. Your thoughts would be helpful, and if there are laws for it I can't find any online, in southern Colorado.

The muffler/resonator/glasspack should be located as close to the axle (under the passenger compartment) as possible, allowing at least 3” of straight run pipe before a bend occurring (if installed to the forward position of the axle), with the overall length as long as possible. In the oem location, 24" will fit fine with no issues, located at the head pipe, 30" will fit fine as well and eliminate almost any possibility of drone in this particular location due to the size, length and insulation qualities (and yes, Allied does make units this long).

I have two 30" glasspacks I plan to duel it, the only curve in it is going to be down from the manifolds to under the frame, then out in front of the rear tire, then my tips cut at a 45, there will be a 3" section between the glasspack and the tip, do you think that would all be okay?
