I got the VIN for my truck last week and been trying to get it to work with Ford's Customer Order Tracking website. I've got a copy of the window sticker, but the COTUS website says gives me a no vehicle found error.

I know my expected delivery date, but would like to track it thru the process. Anyone know what gives here?

 

I'm in the same boat. Was to have been built last Friday. I have the VIN but no luck. Where did you get the window sticker?

Looks like my truck was built yesterday. I've got a leap-year baby! Guess that means when she turns one year old she'll have 60,000 miles....such a tramp

 

Never mind. I used that new fangled Google thing. Doesn't seem to have a lot of info, but maybe I wasn't looking in the right area

 

Try giving your sales person a call. We don't get super precise info, but we can look by vin for units our dealership has ordered and give it's current status as an order.

I have found three different sites. All within one or two characters of each other and they look identical. Only one worked for me.

I believe that some of the COTUS sites are some sort of beta or test site(s). I got mixed results using all of them.

My conclusion is that this is something that just doesn't get a lot of attention, or is at the very least a low priority.

You have to admit, the only time any of us pays any attention to it is when we have a vehicle on order. Prior to, and after that, we could care less.
