1978 f250 supercab restoration (pics)

Hey guys I'm new to here and this is my first post. I have a 1978 f250 that I bought from CA as a restoration project. Its a red super-cab longbed, dana 60 front and back, 351m, C6, and I am the second owner. I don't know what all to say on here but if you guys have any questions ill get back to you asap.

Ill be doing a full blown restoration on this and hope to have it done by summer.
The Plan for this truck is
-paint frame
-do body work
- line-x cab floor, undercab, bed floor, and fenders
-rebuild motor
-swap out c6 for ZF5 out of a 89 f250
-redo interior
-paint job
-new wiring harness
-fix all rust
The number one goal for this build is to make a truck that I can actually use. I've seen way to many builds that do one of 2 things. Either they become show trucks and never get used, or people do not do a quality job on the restoration and within 5 years its rusting out again. I do not want that to happen to me so I'm going to do the best job i can on this.

They are not reproduced. You will have to find a used set in better shape - junk yard, ebay, craigslist, FTE classifieds. If you are really crafty, I've seen them covered with vinyl. They are one of many parts that are hard to come by for a supercab (see my list on the obsolete parts thread)

hey guys wanted to do an update. So far i've painted the frame, patched all holes in the cab and bed, done all body work, removed trans and engine, and primed everything.
I've been fortunate, a friend of mine owns a body shop so i've been able to use their tools and space.

I'm curious to see what you'll fab up for the rear cab floor. I couldn't decide how I would replace the stamping in the original floor - or if it really matters.

I actually got that done the other day. I used extra pieces of bed patch panels that were about 2ft by 4 ft. I cut them to fit the hole. you can see it better on this pic.
