Smile back up lights

Hello, Did the 61 to 66 ford trucks have back up lights?I had a 1970 truck that had them.Wondered if this was an option or they did not exist at this time. Also did the 1963 uni trucks use chains or support arms to hold the tailgate flush with the bed.Thank You

Ford did not offer backup lamps for trucks, Bronco's and Econolines until 1967, when they were mandated by the feds.

And the uni trucks all used rods for the tailgate 61-63.
