Tailgate
The tailgate I have is so rusted I don't know if it is ever going to be right.
Has anyone found the Ford Script that can be put on a blank?
I found it for tail lights but not the tailgait.

Have you searched this forum for tailgates? There are a number of very cool posts documenting ideas that members have done.
I have seen a few templates for painting, but really like the script others have had waterjetted. Good luck on finding something that meets your needs and likes.

B7C-8340700-A (replaced BAAA-8340700-A) 49 13/16" long.
B7D-8340700-A (replaced BAAD-8340700-A) 54/13/16" long.
B7D was also used on all 1973/79 Flaresides.

If he wants a script (gate or panel) and 53’s and up are only block then why are you giving him that info?

I got an early style (48-51 1/2) cheap from Texas (still had the dirt) off eBay. I just checked eBay (restricted to Canada available) and could not find any at this time but they do show up often. Maybe check USA available 48-52 or older if you just want to cut out the script piece?

look at classic hauler parts book they have stickers of the ford script also flat gates or ford scipt gates or a metal cover for a old gate.
