Question Rubber door stop question

Hey All,

I'm putting together a 67 F-100 and have been using a 72 parts truck as reference. I see on the cab of the 72 there is a door stop/bumper just below and to the inside of the door latch post. The cab of the 67 doesn't seem to have (or had) the hole for the bumper in that location. Is this another 67 difference? Even if they are not 67 correct is it a good idea to use them? I am using 68-72 doors if it matters (previous owner had swapped out the 67 doors)

Thanks in advance!

I am assuming Ford didn't think of them for the 67's. I would leave it as is unless your doors are loose or squeaking going down the road.
