Anyone have a fix for gear rollover? I bought the truck with a SMF and can't find a replacement DMF anywhere

 

There really isn't much you can do about gear rollover. I tried overfilling the trans through the shifter hole, but it didn't help much. I wouldn't put a DMF back in mine though. I've seen the damage they can do when they come apart.

 

Truthfully I wanna go back to factory everything. Clutch and DM but I can't find them anywhere. Luk is who made them but there website is useless.

 

If you do go back to the DMF, I would keep a very close eye on it. First sign of any slop in it, and I would change it out. The DMF is the first thing to go on any of these trucks I get, regardless of the condition. I have seen them come apart with no warning, snap the input shaft off, and bust the trans case all to pieces.

 

Fools move! We replaced literally stacks of those misearable things in the late 90s... It became a challenge to get as many stacked up. If you hate your trans...do it.
