Mark III wiring access

I recently bought a '94 Mark III, lift equipped van and want to add some brighter lighting to the interior and side door area. I can probably tap off of some existing courtesy lights but I would like to hide any new wiring. Can anyone tell me what did Mark III use to hold their fabric covered panels in place? Would it be nylon push fasteners like Ford uses on door panels? A gentle tug indicates they seem really anchored. I've included a camera shot toward the back bench seat and you can see the side panels for reference. I've got a fish tape if I need one. Just wanted to reach out for some intel first.

Looking rearward. Both vertical and angled side panels can be seen. I would like to take them down for modification and reinstall without damage.

I have 2 Mark III vans a 85 and 88. both are almost identical inside and have hidden screws in some places and when screws are in the open, they have plastic push on caps over them. In mine the window valances have a single screw in each brace that holds the valance on as well as the walls in place. I am going to remove my interior to check for water damage, replace insulation, as well as add some extra wires for future use.

In mine the key to removing the headliner is to remove the two long strips on each side at the headliner, remove the rear cabinets, then drop the rear headliner drop down. the cabinets hole it up.. I suspect once I remove the long wide strips at the ceiling, I will find other screws holding the headliner up.. All of mine, so far has had screws. The material is cloth covered 1/4 paneling. All the screws I have found so far are self drilling metal screws that screw into the metal braces in the van..

annaleigh, your interior looks really nice. More like a "living-room on wheels". I'll be taking a closer look for hidden screws on mine. Thanks for your suggestions. Jeff

Hidden screws are what I found. It takes alot of feeling to discover them. It would appear they used Ford's trim in the remake. Here's a sample of what I found.

Thanks for the compliment. I like the storage area you have in the rear of yours.. Mine is just dead space right now. I want to make some modifications to add storage..
I removed the valance and blinds in mine for now because I want to remove and reseal the windows. I think I will put curtains back instead of the blinds. The blinds are metal and hauling people sometimes, they are going to get bent up..

So on your interior, they screwed the trim and panels in place and then used a glue to hold the cloth material and tucked the edges in place?
I removed one of my front door door panels and noticed they glued the cloth to the paneling. Also once I had the door panel off, there is a piece of cloth glued directly to the metal door framing around the door handle..
