LOL! Darn right. Ever put some racing fuel in your lawnmower? Smells nice when mowing! Kinda spendy though...

Thread slightly hijacked...

HAHA I had about 7 gallons of MR-12 after this season was over... a little bit has gone into a lot of things it shouldn't have... I have actually ran my chainsaws on it for years!

I also keep a tad in a mason jar in the man cave... everyone asks what is that smell, most women do not like it, therefore it remains a man cave!

Ok back on track! Eff FRAM filters

If you want the best non BYPASS filter, here ya go Oil filter, DBL7405, Donaldson

Holds nearly 3+ qts and has micron rating beating every other filter I have seen. Just wish they were a bit cheaper!

Ya gotta like the racing fuel in the man cave! Tried to rep ya Nick, just won't let me.

Ok, back on topic. Sorry OP. Donaldson is a very good filter, but you won't go wrong with a motorcraft.

And this was my point exactly. And also FYI, those orange can basic Frams don't even have the wire mesh! Only the Xtended Guard has the mesh. The orange cans of death are all cardboard...even the cap on the paper element inside the cartridge. Like Nick said...TOTAL chit filter.

I used to get those Donaldson filters for $12 when I worked at Fastenal, but after that, I had to quit using them. Too much money so MC it is!
