I don't have anything special, just the Westin chrome tube steps on mine. They have held up well for me and are pretty sturdy so no complaints. I have seen some that run the full length and include a step for the bed. They look awesome but mine ain't broke.
Also, I had the hoops for awhile and didn't care for them

When I put these on had to order for a 96 model and went with Westin brand. Pretty much a direct bolt up but did have to drill 1 hole in frame, but instructions indicated that. Good quality and after all these years they still look like new. I like them, some don't.

I have what Hussler has on my 1997. Mine are Smittybilt brand but look identical. I love them. Maybe Smittbilt and Westin are using a common manufacturer?

...replacing nerf bar step pads?

Anyone had luck trying to get replacement nerf bar step pads? I bought my 2005 SCrew used, and the 3" round nerf bars were on there. Seen them on most other F150 SCrews of the same vintage--wondered if they came OEM... No kind of mfr logo in step pads, or anywhere on bars...so no clue how to run down replacement pads. They're 19-5/8" long with 4 posts that fit in holes in indented top of 3" round chrome bars. Appreciate any ideas other than just buying new bars : ) Look like images of SteelCraft nerf pads, but those have 5 posts and a bit longer.
