I have seen in various posts people talk about working on the truck reaching over the fender and such.....

Well I saw this in my harbor freight email today....sale is going on all weekend!

Step Stool/Working Platform

 

i have 3 tire steps.
put the top arm over the tire, and fold the step down on 2 of them, the third has a set of chains attached to the bar that goes behind the tire.

and to save you the headache of looking up www. tirestep. com and trying to figure out why it does not open, that company went out of business over 10 years ago and the website has been for sale for about that long too.

 

I have one of these . It works on 31's : And never slips out from under you.

 

the bottom pictured unit has been on 42 inch tires with no problems at all.
the top ones have been used on as large as 37's without any problems.
